Winding the bobbin — you must get the machine going, then adjust the bobbin winding wheel to very lightly run against the hand wheel of the machine. The main hand wheel should only spin towards the user to turn the bobbin wheel. Otherwise, it will kick the bobbin wheel out, and thereby loosening the bobbin from the winding cradle.
